Conference Services is excited to announce that Lauren Weiner has joined our team as our new Assistant Director of Facilities & Hospitality Services. Lauren will remain in her Resident Director position until the end of July so she will be in both places for a few months! Lauren will be focusing her energies during the summer on our front desk operations and working with our team of student managers and Guest Service Representatives to assure that our summer guests have the best experience possible in our accommodations.
Lauren originally comes from Valencia and did her undergraduate studies in Math at the University of Oregon in Eugene. She then moved to Bloomington, Indiana and got her Masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Indiana University. Lauren moved to San Luis Obispo after receiving her Masters and worked at Cal Poly as a Coordinator of Student Development before coming to UCSB in 2012.
