We offer a variety of lodging options for visiting professors, graduate researchers, and guests with University business. We also provide temporary accommodations at the beginning and end of summer for students transitioning to and from housing in the local community.
Visitor Accommodations
West Cottages
Eligible to visiting faculty, scholars, and those conducting University of California business, the West Cottages are located on the West Campus bluffs and offer a peaceful, retreat-like setting with views of the ocean.
Summer Apartment Rental
Over the summer months, we offer short- and long-term apartment rentals to those conducting University of California business.
The Club & Guest House
The Club & Guest House offers a 34-room, boutique hotel-style Guest House in the heart of campus. Overnight visitors enjoy well-appointed guest rooms with lagoon and ocean views. The Dining Room is open to the public for lunch Monday-Friday. Full-service catering options, state-of-the-art meetings spaces, conference packages and guest room blocks are available.

June Temporary Housing
June Temporary Housing is available to UCSB students seeking to bridge the period of time between the end of residence hall or apartment contracts and the start of summer housing. We'd like to make the process of transitioning to your new lease/contract as easy as possible.
September Temporary Housing
September Temporary Housing is available to UCSB students seeking permanent local housing or while they wait for their fall housing to begin. These transition times are often challenging and we are here to provide a helpful option.
